It was a successful Pink Night for the West Central Valley basketball teams, as both varsity teams won over Guthrie Center, and a good chunk of cash was raised for the local Relay For Life. The West Central Valley girls, now 7-8 on the season took down the still winless Guthrie Center girls by a score of 52-21; and the now 3-11 West Central Valley boys defeated the now 1-12 Guthrie Center boys 63-51. Over several fundraising events throughout the evening, there was $653 raised for the Guthrie County Relay For Life.
The boys and girls West Central Valley teams will play again on Friday night, when they host Madrid. Both Guthrie Center teams will host Panorama on Friday night.
