The Perry Jayette basketball team will take a break from the tight Raccoon River Conference race tonight when they travel to Woodward to take on the Woodward Granger Hawks.  Perry has won 8 games in a row and is currently in a three-way tie for first place in the RRC.  The Jayettes are 11-2 on the season and will take on a much improved Woodward Granger team from a year ago.  The Hawks are 7-7 on the season and have a victory over then number 3 Panorama 45-44 back on January 2nd.  Perry defeated Woodward Granger last year 50-39.  The game tonight will be played in the old Woodward Granger High School.  It will be in the same location where the Perry boys opened up the season when they played Woodward Academy.  Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 and Shawn Kenney will have the play by play on KDLS and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
