The Perry City Council will meet tonight.
The Council is expected to approve a land lease option and lease agreement following a public hearing on the topic. The Council will also consider for approval a request to vacate a public owned right-of-way, board and commission training with the Institute of Public Affairs with the University of Iowa, a resolution authorizing permanent transfer to close out HMA resurfacing project fund, a resolution setting a time and date for a public hearing for voluntary annexation and another resolution appointing newspapers for official publication and notices.
The Council will also appoint a person to the historic preservation commission, the volunteer fire department and other city positions.
There will be a special presentation made by a representative with the Greater Dallas County Development Alliance.
Plus there will be second readings considered for approval with special 30 miles-per-hour zones and parking regulations.
The meeting will be at 6pm in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building in Perry.
