Volunteers at the Carnegie Library Museum are getting excited for the holiday season and look forward to bringing Christmas cheer to the community.
They will be open special hours the night of Perry’s Lighted Parade on Friday, November 28th from 6:30-8:30pm. That’s also the kick-off of the Festival of Trees exhibit with trees decorated by local businesses and organizations. Volunteers will also have crafts for children to do that night, along with coloring pages and paper ornaments
In addition, there will be bilingual story times for children ages 3-7 on December 6th, 13th and 20th from 1-2pm. Costumed characters will tell stories about both Latino and Anglo cultures and attendees will also receive treat bags.
So if you’ve never been to the Carnegie Library Museum, now is a great time to check it out.
