A third suspect wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation by the Jefferson Police Department is facing several felony charges.
Chief Dave Morlan says 45 year-old Anthony Rothmeyer of Grand Junction is charged with Class D Felonies for his third offense of possession of marijuana and methamphetamine and a simple misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia.
The charges stem from when officers executed a search warrant at 403 North Olive Street on November 15, 2013 for suspected drugs. The accused was at the residence at the time and the test results from the items that officers recovered from him came in from the Criminalistics Laboratory in Ankeny which is why the police department is filing charges now against him. Once Rothmeyer is apprehended, Morlan adds that he will be booked and released from the Greene County Jail.
Morlan notes that they’ve already arrested two other suspects in the case. 41 year-old Frederick James Lonsdale of Rippey is accused and charged with a Class C Felony for his third offense for conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, a Class D Felony for his third offense for possession of methamphetamine, an aggravated misdemeanor for his third offense for possession of marijuana and another misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia.
33 year-old Heather Thelma Ott of Jefferson is accused and charged with a Class C Felony for her second offense for conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and misdemeanors for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
