The Guthrie County Arts Council has announced its featured artist for November’s Meet The Artist event, and it will be Bill Lloyd, along with his wife, Gina, both of Linden, Iowa. Bill Lloyd works with wood and metal to create artistic carvings, pen-work, signage and hand-crafted knives. Gina will be on hand to demonstrate tile painting. The event takes place next Saturday, a week from tomorrow, at Art on State, 3rd and State in Guthrie Center, beginning at 8 am.
