Panora P.E.T.S is taking part in running one of the biggest adoption events of the year in the state this weekend. The PetSmart National Adoption Event will take place at the SE 14th St. PetSmart on Des Moines’ south-side, and in addition to finding great homes for pets, Linda Shelley of Panora P.E.T.S says they get money back for each animal they adopt out, “Every adoption you complete during the event, PetSmart gives you back $25. So whether you adopt one pet out, or a bunch, you get $25 for each adoption.”

The event takes place Saturday from 10-5, and Sunday from 10-4 at the PetSmart located at 5050 SE 14th St in Des Moines.
