Perry point guard Maggie Lowe signed a letter of intent to play basketball next year at Division Two powerhouse Wayne State of Nebraska.  Lowe signed the letter of intent in front of her parents, grandparents and a room full of family, friends and students.  Lowe had received a lot of attention for her ability to run the point guard position.  She has led the team in assists the past three years and improved her three point shooting last year.  Like her teammate Marburger, she is happy to have found the right fit.

“It was crazy for a while sorting everything out and narrowing down the decision.  The big thing for me was the location of Wayne State.  I knew I would get homesick so I wanted to stay close to home.  The coaches and the current (Wayne State) players were great when I visited and they have a really solid tradition.  It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

Lowe will look to lead Perry back to the state tournament this year
