A new coalition formed this Fall in Guthrie Center serves to provide better organization and roles among the various community organizations. Julie Bailey is Director of Main Street Guthrie Center and talks about the new Partners Group, “The economic development group, the revitalization group, the city, Main Street, and the chamber, we all decided we needed to get together, brainstorm, and decide whose role is what in the Guthrie Center community, so that we can avoid any overlaps, and help each other out and communicate better.”
