The Greene County School Board of Directors will meet tonight.

The Board will hold a special meeting for the Iowa Department of Education Site Visit at 5:15pm.

Then the Board will conduct its regular meeting at 6:30pm.  The Board will conduct a public hearing for the sale of properties at Wilcox Way and Adams Street.  The Board will also discuss further plans for the student construction house course.

Under new business, the Board will consider for approval a Jefferson Field House and Rippey baseball field lease agreements, the district’s participation in the 2015 Iowa Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, appoint the school improvement advisory committee members, winter sports officials, open enrollment out requests and river hills consortium administration costs for allowable growth.

The Board will also set a public hearing for the possible sale of the Rippey School property, Physical Plant and Equipment Levy projects and consider the first reading of a revised board policy on a tobacco-free environment.

Both meetings will be in the conference room of the administrative building in Jefferson.
