A crash between two semis on Interstate 80 EB at mile marker 82.2 in Adair County ended with one of the drivers injured. According to the Iowa State Patrol’s accident report, a 2014 PTRB semi driven by Dong Liu of Alhamera, California collided with a 2008 FRHT rig being driven by Vlado Topalovic of East Lake, Ohio. As a result of the collision, Liu’s vehicle went onto the shoulder before colliding with the barrier cable system and coming to rest. Liu was transferred to Cass County Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
