The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session yesterday morning for a meeting which consisted almost entirely of a Sheriff’s Department update from Sheriff Marty Arganbright. Some of the items covered by Arganbright included a new firearms training program that his deputies are participating in along with Panorama Police; a new, used 2011 Crown Victoria that the Reserve Department is purchasing from Audubon County, and the hopeful launching of a new chaplain program that will offer comfort and support to officers, EMS and firefighters stressed on the job, as well as to victims of accidents or crimes, and their friends and families.
