This weekend is your last chance to check out the work of a unique, local artist.
The Aphasia: Paintings exhibit features work by Dr. Steven Nissen, a former Iowa State University animal science professor who was robbed of the ability to speak after a stroke and turned to art as a way to express himself.
His work has been on display since early September, but the exhibit only runs through Sunday.
If you haven’t yet stopped by to look at his work, do so Saturday between 10am and 4pm or Sunday from 1-4pm, before it’s too late.
