The Perry Public Library invites everyone to stop by for a special program with a local soldier Saturday.

The America’s Charitable Role in Afghanistan program features Perry resident August Hohl who served two deployments in Afghanistan on the Army Command Staff in 2003/2004 and again in 2006.  Hohl then worked as an aviation contractor and independent civilian employee of an Afghan owned cargo airline.

While overseas, Hohl took photos of his journey and wrote articles for several newspapers around the Midwest.

The program takes place in the large meeting room from 1-2:30pm Saturday.  If you have questions call 465-3569.
