An Adair man is facing charges of assaulting his 84 year old mother at her home in Menlo. 50 year old Jeff Godron is charged with Assault Causing Injury, a serious misdemeanor, and after being booked into the Guthrie County Jail last Friday on a $1000 bond, it was discovered that Godron had outstanding warrants in Adair County for Willful Injury and Domestic Abuse. Godron remains in the Guthrie County Jail and has a hold placed on him by Adair County for those outstanding warrants.
