One of the most important parts of economic development is the growth of new business through entrepreneurship, and Midwest Partnership’s interim CEO, Sarah Gomez says their organization recognizes that with a new award, “The Entrepreneurship of the Year Award is brand new this year, and Midwest Partnership is devoted to providing more of a focus for entrepreneurs and small businesses in the region, and to start we would like to highlight an entrepreneur of the year in the region, and that could be categorized through a work initiative, a community volunteerism, or an entrepreneur with a unique business or service offering.”
