The A-D-M Cross Country teams competed in the Ballard Invitational on Tuesday. The girl’s team placed 4th just 10 points behind 3rd place & host Ballard.
“I was encouraged by the way the kids ran in the meet,” said Head Coach David Zwank, “It was a tough meet with a lot of quality schools. We still have room for growth.”
Freshman Brianna Mueller was the top finisher for A-D-M as she placed 6th in Class B. “She continues to improve, ” Coach Zwank mentioned, “She’s still working to figure this distance out which is to be expected for a Freshman.” Zwank also praised another Freshman, Jessica Gard, who ran in her 1st Varsity meet.
For the boy’s, Cade Kiddo was the top Tiger finisher at the meet followed directly by Josh Berger. “Cade is performing well,” Zwank mentioned, “He has been working hard this year be a more consistent runner and it has really paid off.”
The teams run Thursday at Panora & then have a home meet Monday.
