Just when Greene County head football coach thought the team was on the path to recovery from a rash of injuries, an MRI earlier this week revealed a knee ligament tear by senior Daniel Rohner. A two-way starter at offensive tackle and defensive end, Rohner’s season is over. He was the lone senior on the offensive line and a returning letter winner.

When the Rams face Red Oak on Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. in the homecoming game at Linduska Field one of the teams will pick up win number one on the season. Both teams are 0-3 overall and 0-1 in Class 2A District 8. The contest can be heard on KGRA 98.9 FM.
