Raccoon Valley Radio is seeking two high school seniors to be recognized with scholarships, but the deadline to apply ends soon.
Graduating high school seniors within the state of Iowa are encouraged to apply for a one-year $300 scholarship for those that will be entering into the business or broadcasting industry. According to General Manager John McGee, the scholarship can be used towards a two-year community college or a four-year university. The two scholarship recipients will be announced during that student’s school awards assembly.
The scholarship is sponsored by KDLS, KGRA, and KKRF radio stations and the deadline to submit the application is April 4th.
