A juvenile driver was on Hwy 141, near R Ave, when the driver hit a patch of ice and slide into the ditch.  Another vehicle driven by Porfirio Vargas, Perry, hit the same patch of ice and slide into the Juvenile’s car.  No injuries were reported.  Damage was estimated at $500 to Mr. Vargas car and $1500 to the other vehicle.  Mr. Vargas was cited for Leaving Scene Of Accident and Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Anthony Wiah, age 36, 2519 Clarkson Ave, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violation Of Probation Terms.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
