Adair Clover Kids and 4-H members showing bucket/bottle animals can collect an extra gift when they pick up their ear tags for their animals.

Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage says that once again, there are also vouchers for milk replacer available for those who will be showing bucket/bottle animals. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio who backs the gift of the vouchers.

“The Adair County Farm Bureau has provided a voucher for a bag of milk replacement. And so that’s one per exhibitor, per species, not per animal, but come into the 4-H office here and pick that up as well as your tags when you are ready.”

Savage mentions that this allows the individuals showing these young animals an opportunity to be ready to start once they have an animal they want to show, and be able to feed them right off the bat.
