The Perry Chamber of Commerce is holding its Annual Dinner in April, but the deadline for award nominations ends soon.
According to Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti, the Annual Dinner is an opportunity to celebrate the past year’s successes with a delicious meal and will hand out three awards to recognize a Business of the Year, a Volunteer of the Year, and an Ambassador of the Year. Pasutti reveals that the Ambassador Award is a bit different as it focuses on the chamber as an organization, whereas the other two are open to anyone in the community.
“Those are great opportunities to nominate individuals from the community, businesses from the past year that have really shared the spirit of Perry. So, looking forward to seeing all the nominations that come in for all three of those awards.”
Pasutti shares that 2024’s Business of the Year went to the Dallas County Hospital, Matt McDevitt was named the Individual of the Year, and the Ambassador of the Year was Andrea Brownlee. Nominations are due by Monday at noon and can be submitted by emailing the Perry Chamber at info@PerryIAChamber.org or filling out an online survey by clicking here. The Annual Dinner is slated for April 1st at La Poste in Perry.
