There’s some good news for Iowa Residents that have been looking forward to the return of a fun program through Iowa libraries.
Mary J Barnett Memorial Library Director Jerri Hawkins says that the Iowa Adventure Pass that libraries across the state offered had to go on hiatus at the end of 2024, as the software they were using for booking tickets needed to be updated and was something that they wouldn’t be able to use. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio the good news now.
“Iowa Adventure Pass did find some new software. They are still working to get that set up. So we hope to have the Iowa Adventure Pass up and going again here by the time it warms up.”
Once everything is updated, Hawkins says that library patrons across the state will be able to register for up to two adult and two children’s tickets for the Blank Park Zoo, Science Center of Iowa and Des Moines Children’s Museum.
