The Raccoon River Northwest Wrestling team recently completed a remarkable 2024-25 season, shattering many records in the process.
RRNW were named the Class 2A State Champions at the beginning of February with Katie Biscoglia winning her third state title in the 105 pound weight category. The team also won first place by scoring 160 total points. According to RRNW, Biscoglia acquired the most wins of the season with 58, and had the most nearfalls with 38. Izzy Duncan achieved the most reversals with 22, with Cassidy McCallister that tallied the most takedowns with 136 and 16 tech falls, and Naomi Templeman had the most pins with 42. RRNW held their annual banquet on February 23rd as they reflected and celebrated their phenomenal year.
