The Perry City Council will meet in regular session on Monday.

The council will be going through a second and possible third reading for an ordinance vacating a portion of public right of way in the City of Perry, as well as a second and possible third reading for an ordinance amending the code of chapter 110 for a natural gas franchise. 

Items on the agenda seeking approval include a future payment for grant reimbursement under contract number 22, a resolution authorizing exemption from city franchise fees, a resolution for an agreement with CivicSystems for financial software, a resolution to set a schedule for the 2025 Yard Waste Disposal Dates and Procedures, and a resolution to to set a public hearing for the fiscal year 2026 consolidated general fund tax levy rate.

The meeting will be happening Monday evening at 6pm inside the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building, 1102 Willis Avenue, in Perry.
