The sophomore class of Perry High School will be holding three separate events today.

The Class of 2027 is inviting people to join them for their Couple Shuffle 5K Run, a Mother-Son Afternoon, and the Daddy-Daughter Dance. According to the student organization, the 5K is at 10:30am at Raccoon Valley Bank with walk-up registration at 10am. The cost to participate is $20 for students and $30 for adults and costumes are welcome.

The second event happening is the Mother-Son Afternoon from 3-5pm at Perry Elementary. The Class of 2027 states that boys in kindergarten through fifth grade will be able to play games, eat snacks, and meet high school athletes as they spend time with their mothers. The night will end with the Daddy-Daughter Dance, which will also be held at Perry Elementary from 6-8pm. Fathers and daughters will dance together and play games too.

Tickets for the Mother-Son Afternoon and the Daddy-Daughter Dance are $10 at the door, but must be cash only. All the proceeds from the three events are going towards the Class of 2027’s prom.
