As the first week of practice concludes for the Panorama Panthers girls track team, head coach Greg Thompson reflects on the amount of new faces out on the track this year. Thompson also explained how he plans on leaning on his experienced runners and upper classmen to help coach and guide the newcomers and freshman on this years squad.

“We’re just trying to build up their base” coach Thompson said, “I have quite a few freshmen who have not done track before. So again, just trying to build up their and enjoying the lovely weather outside and that’s kind of where we’re at right now.”

The Panorama girls track team is still a month away from action as they are set to begin the season in Pella for the 2025 Central College Girls Indoor Meet.
