Feb. 27th

Patrick Tracey, Waukee, was traveling east on Hwy 44 at W Ave, when a vehicle driven by Susan Kraber, Elkhart, entered the intersection and a collision occurred.  Both drivers were checked for any injuries by EMS and declined any transportation to local hospitals.  Damage to Mr. Tracey’s vehicle was estimated at $55000.  Damage to Ms.  Kraber’s vehicle was estimated at $42000.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.  Ms. Kraber was issued a citation for Fail To Obey Stop Sign And Yield Right Of Way.

Feb. 28th

John Ngigi, Seatac, WA, was driving in the 14000 block of Hwy 141, when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $1500.  The vehicle will be moved at a later time.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
