Tonight is a new fundraiser for the Bell Tower Festival Committee to continue to bring even more entertainment and activities to the second weekend in June celebration for Jefferson.
Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says the event starts at 4pm with bingo until 6pm. Then a meal will be served from 5:30-7pm, followed by the featured entertainment of Family Feud where four teams square off to see who is the champion and bragging rights. Wetrich points out that the silent auction is continuing online until 8:45pm tonight and people do not need to be at the event to place a bid. Wetrich explains that all of the proceeds from tonight goes back to the Bell Tower Festival.
“Again, the money raised from this goes towards continuing to build up the Bell Tower (Festival). And in large part, a lot of that goes to like what kind of quality entertainment they can bring in. Whether its the quality of the carnival or whether it’s like the size of these musical acts, but it takes funds. Rather than just strain up a basket for donations it’s a great way to raise funds by putting on an event like this or having these silent auction items. They’re doing a great job!”
While tickets for the meal are no longer available, people can still bid on the silent auction or just watch the Family Feud for $20. That information can be found by clicking on the links below.
