The 2024-25 high school basketball season for the Greene County boys ended with a 4-19 record, which doubled the win total from the previous season. A modest improvement, but an improvement nonetheless.
In an interview with Raccoon Valley Radio, veteran head coach Chris Nelson looked to 2025-26, and named dribbling and rebounding as the top priorities for improvement if the Rams are to move up the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference standings. Greene County finished eighth in the nine team league and was 2-14 in the conference with both victories over winless South Hamilton (Jewell).
The Rams ended this season with just two seniors on the team in Camden Jacobs and Isaac Carman, meaning 10 players with varsity experience could return next season.
