jukebox-2025

Perry High School’s Musical Department is gearing up for their winter showcase on Friday.

Vocal Director Jenn Hillman details that Perry’s Jukebox Variety Show will follow the theme of “Encore.” She highlights the performances, which include songs from several movies and musicals, featuring “Hamilton,” “The Greatest Showman,” “Matilda,” “Tangled,” “Mulan,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Pocahontas,” plus more. According to Hillman, students in grades kindergarten through 12th will perform in either solo, duet, or small group acts.

She adds that a jar will be placed in front of the stage where spectators can put coins, cash, or checks made out to the Perry Booster Club for their favorite performances. The Jukebox Variety Show is taking place at Perry’s Performing Arts Center, 1200 18th Street, on Friday at 7pm. General admission tickets can be purchased online or at the door for $6. Hillman notes that if people pay at the door, then they must use their debit or credit card, as cash will not be accepted. To buy tickets online, click here.
