
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Basketball team begins their postseason tonight, as they welcome in a nearby school.
ADM is gearing up to face off against Perry in the Class 4A Region 2 Quarterfinals in Adel. The Tigers finished 13-9 overall (9-7; 5th inside Raccoon River Conference), while the Jayettes are 5-16 on the year (3-13; 8th in Heart of Iowa Conference). ADM senior Kelli Storck is averaging nine points per game on 48 percent shooting, grabbing seven rebounds, and has 14 blocks on the season. Perry sophomore Lily Myers is sitting at close to 10 points per contest on 37.5 percent shooting, with a 12 rebound average, and she has 15 blocks.
The teams have met 27 times, with the Tigers leading 17-10 in the series and winning the past 12 matches. The winner of tonight’s game will battle Gilbert on Saturday. Raccoon Valley Radio will have the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF and KDLS 94.3/99.7 FM and 1310 AM at 6:45pm with a 7pm tip off.
