
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Basketball team will hit the road tonight in the metro area for a non-conference game.
ADM is going to Norwalk to face off in a boys-only game as the Tigers are looking for their 17th win of the season. The Warriors are 10-10 on the year and they represent the Little Hawkeye Conference. ADM’s junior Hudson Lorensen is averaging about 25 points per game with senior Cade Fisher grabbing eight rebounds, and junior Trey Bryte is posting close to seven assists a game. Norwalk senior Grady Sigrist is at 13 points per contest, grabbing 6.6 rebounds, and has approximately three assists on the season. ADM finished second in the Raccoon River Conference as senior Carter Madison is proud that the Tigers were able to finish in that spot.
“I feel like we did really good. It’s accustomed to what we do every day, we all have trust in each other, and (the) coaches have trust in us, and I think it’s just a brotherhood that we have created, and it’s been really good, really fun, really fun season so far.”
The Tigers are coming off a 67-48 win over Carlisle on Friday, while the Warriors lost 68-40 against Dowling Catholic on Saturday. This will be the 20th meeting between the teams, with Norwalk leading the overall series 14-5, winning the last seven games. The game will tip off at 7:15pm and Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, beginning at 7pm.
