The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is holding a meeting tomorrow in Perry to discuss the latest hunting seasons.

The Iowa DNR is inviting people out to the Forest Park Museum Administration Building, 14581 K Avenue, tomorrow to review the 2024-25 hunting seasons. According to Wildlife Biologist Dean Nelson, DNR employees will talk about the statistics from this past season as well as get feedback from hunters on what they thought and if they have any suggestions for future years.

He says that the meeting will cover the different hunting seasons with video presentations followed by a question and answer session. Nelson adds that there will be some conversation around rule changes, but will primarily focus on getting people’s opinion on how the hunting season went for them. The meeting will begin at 6:30pm tomorrow and is open to the public.
