As the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs boys basketball team enter their final week of the regular season before play offs, head coach Joel Rankin has reached an incredible milestone, 350 career wins so far as a head coach.

Coach Rankin expressed how this achievement couldn’t not be achieved without a team and community that has bought into his program and message. “honestly, it is a community that has embraced basketball within the last 20 years. 350 wins are nice, and the wins are great but its more about relationships and I truly mean that. At the end of the day, wins are for the ego but relationships are what matter.”

Head coach Rankin and his Mustangs look to add two more wins before playoffs as the Mustangs travel to Council Bluffs to take on Lincoln tonight. Tip off is scheduled for 7pm.
