Lawrence A. (Larry) Wesely, 87, of Perry passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Dallas County Hospital, surrounded by family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with family being present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. all at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home and Crematory at 1721 Park St. in Perry, IA. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1312 3rd St. in Perry, IA, followed by a lunch in the St. Patrick School gymnasium, 1302 5th St. Perry, IA. Burial will be at a later date in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church or the Perry Booster Club.

Survivors include his daughter Karen (Jeff) Stewart of Perry, IA; son Kurt (Trish) Wesely of Crossville, TN; one sister Mary (Dave) Kruger of Owatonna, MN; three granddaughters; Mandy (Steve Lage) Stewart of Ronald, IA; Tara Wesely of Nashville, TN; Mindy (Kyle) Baxter of Perry, IA, two Grandsons; Logan Wesely and Tyler Wesely of Crossville, TN; three Great-Grandchildren; Reese, Cash, & Charlie Baxter of Perry, IA; sisters-in law: Barb Wesely, Ramona Wesely, Veta Moravec, Elise Elzen, Betty Bradley, Mildred (Don) Wymore and Joanne (Maynard) Madson as well as several nieces and nephews.
