Two Perry wrestlers have qualified for their first ever State Tournament.  This will be the first time Narciso Hidalgo and Ben Kusar will wrestling at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines for the State Tournament.  Both guys will represent Perry in the evening session tomorrow night at 6PM.

Narciso hopes to get off to a strong start in his first match.  “I hope to get the first take down and finish on top.”  Hidalgo first round will be against Layne Kleppe from North Fayette Valley in the weight class of 285.

Ben also has high expectations.  “The ultimate goal is a State Title at the end of the season.”  Kusar wrestles in the weight class of 138 and will open things up with Brennan Baschke from Okoboji.

Perry and fellow 2A schools have the late session tomorrow night.  The Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network will be live throughout the entire tournament.
