The West Central Valley FFA Chapter competed at their Sub-District Contest Monday, and came away with favorable results.

Advisor Molly Dolch says that the Chapter had four events that they competed in, and how these did included Gold Ratings in Public Speaking and Job Interview, and Silver Ratings for Parliamentary Procedures and Conduct of Meetings groups. She adds that the Parliamentary Procedures group will be competing at Districts, and was the only event to advance for the Chapter. Dolch mentions that for the event, a team of five students learns 11 different abilities of parliamentary law, and displays their understanding of those abilities in the contest by applying them to a mock meeting scenario. She shares that while the group is a little nervous, they are also very excited to move on to the next level. A full list of the students that competed can be found below.
