The journey towards the state basketball tournament begins on Monday for the West Central Valley Wildcat boys as the Wildcats  travel to Chariton High School for battle against the Chargers. The Wildcat boys enter Monday night’s contest at 5-17 while Chariton comes in at 11-9.

Colton Lindsay looks to help guide the Wildcats towards keeping their post season dreams alive as he currently averages 13.1 points per game. The Wildcats look to contain Oxenreider Brock, Chariton’s dual threat who leads the Chargers in points and in assists.

Class 2A Region 7 basketball action begins on Monday as West Central Valley travels to Chariton High School with dreams of advancing to the regional championship and state tournament. Regional boys basketball action begins on Monday night for the Wildcats with tip off scheduled for 7pm.
