A player from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Football team is continuing his career past high school.

Senior Jon Hatchitt has announced that he will be attending Grand View University in Des Moines to play football. At the running back position, Hatchitt had 147 carries for 979 yards, scoring seven touchdowns during the 2024 season. His long run of the year went for 67 yards. Hatchitt also caught four receptions accumulating 38 yards. ADM finished the season with a 8-3 record, and fell to Lewis Central in the Class 4A Quarterfinals 32-25 on November 8th. Aside from football, Hatchitt is on the Tiger wrestling team plus the track and field team.
