The girls state wrestling tournament begins today as Gracie Recker and Emma Walker prepare to represent the Panorama Panthers in Coralville this afternoon. Recker will compete at 155 while Walker will go to battle at 170.

Class 1A begin competition with the 1st round, quarterfinals, and 1st and 2nd round consolations being held from 4:30-9pm. According to the tentative bracket by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, Recker will face off against Lizzy Wolf of Benton Community while Emma Walker will also face an athlete from Benton Community, Layna DeMoss.
