Perry girls basketball traveled to Heart of Iowa Conference foe Nevada last night.  The Cubs picked up the win as they swept the series with the 58-36 victory.  The Jayettes have now fallen in their last 5 contests.

It was another slow start for Perry, who was outscored 11-5 in the first.  The Jayettes cut the lead to one, 14-13 early in the second.  The remainder of the quarter would not go well as Nevada scored 11 of the final 13 points in the quarter.  Half time score 25-15.  Nevada responded with outstanding half time adjustments.  The 16-5 quarter gave Nevada a 41-20 lead.  Final 58-36.

The Jayettes fall in 4-14 (2-12).  Perry returns home Friday night for Senior Night.
