Logo belongs to the Perry Public Library

The Perry Public Library is hosting a fun themed party on Saturday relating to an animated movie soon to release.

According to Youth Services Librarian Laura Pieper, the organization is welcoming fans of “Dog Man” to join their get together ahead of the new movie that will be releasing next Friday, January 31st. She expresses that the Dog Man books are amongst the most popular in the library.

“Dog Man is huge. I mean Dog Man is like Bluey for the older set, Dog Man is big. When kids found out that there was going to be a Dog Man movie, minds were blown. Just come on in and party with the Dog Man.”

Pieper announces that programs are not normally held on Saturdays, but wanted this one to be in order to allow more participants to come join. She notes that there will be lots of crafts, games, and snacks available and that registration is not required. The party is taking place inside the library community room from 1-2pm and is geared towards kids in elementary school. Any questions can be directed to the Perry Public Library at (515)-465-3569.
