An athlete from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School will continue to pursue his sports career at a college institution within the state of Iowa.

ADM senior Wyatt Schweiger has announced that he will be attending Wartburg College in Waverly to play football. Schweiger played the wide receiver position on offense during the 2024 season where he had 20 receptions with 190 yards and averaged about nine and a half yards per carry. Defensively, he was a cornerback racking up 16 solo tackles and 18 tackles total.

The Tigers finished 8-3 on the season, ultimately losing to Lewis Central in the Class 4A Quarterfinals 32-25 on November 8th, 2024.
