The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball teams are hitting the road tonight to take on Raccoon River Conference opponent North Polk for the second time this year.

ADM girls and boys will be seeking win number nine as they will travel to Alleman. For the girls, the Tigers are ranked 13th in Class 3A with a record of 8-5 overall (5-3 RRC), while the Comets are ranked second and a perfect 12-0 record (8-0 RRC). Back on December 6th, North Polk walked out with a 60-35 victory as ADM senior Kelli Storck and freshman Ella Subbert combined for 25 points.

On the boys side, the Tigers are 8-3 overall (6-2 RRC; 2nd), and the Comets are 6-5 overall (4-4 RRC; 5th). In the first matchup, ADM ran off to a 19-0 start to the game, then North Polk crept back in, but the Tigers avoided a comeback as they won 64-49. ADM junior Hudson Lorensen led the way with 26 points, and North Polk senior Jake Hout had 10 of his own.

The action begins at 6pm with the girls, followed by the boys at approximately 7:30pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting at 5:45pm.
