The Greene County basketball, bowling, and wrestling teams are in action today.

The Rams host PCM (Monroe) in a Heart of Iowa Activities Conference girl/boy basketball doubleheader in Jefferson. It’s make up action that was iced out last month. The Mustangs are 11-2 overall and 7-1 in the conference in girls’ basketball with a number 11 ranking in Class 3A. PCM’s boys are 5-7, 4-4, while the Rams are 0-12, 0-8 in girls basketball and 3-9, 1-7 on the boys’ side. Both games can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Coverage starts at 5:45 p.m. with the girls playing at 6 o’clock and the boys to follow.

Greene County hosts the Ankeny Hawks in girls and boys bowling at 4 p.m. in Jefferson at Spare Time Lanes. The Rams are 2-2 in boys’ bowling and the girls are 0-3.

The Rams wrestling in a HOIAC double-dual in Monroe vs. PCM and South Hamilton (Jewel) starting at 5:30 p.m. The Rams have a 6-5 dual meet record and are 4-0 this month in dual meets.
