Greene County High School senior Gavin Mobley swims for the Carroll High Tigers through an athletic sharing program. Mobley and his teammates had their first 2025 competition on Saturday by swimming at the Johnston Invitational. Waukee won with 298 points, followed by Des Moines Roosevelt 263, Johnston 232, Council Bluffs Lewis Central 157, and Carroll 143.

Coach Deb Danner told Raccoon Valley Radio “The boys were real excited to finally have a meet. We saw some really good competition and the boys responded very well.”

Mobley was 12th in the 100 yard freestyle in 1:03.75, thirteenth in the 200 yard freestyle in 2:26.41, and he was on two relays that did not score points.
