On Thursday night the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustang wrestling teams hosted the Oskaloosa Indians for wrestling dual action while also celebrating Mustang senior night. The Mustang boys honored: Evan Dittmer, Nick Esser, Clark Johnson, Cayden Mayfield, and Ryan Pertzsch. The Mustang girls honored: Hailey Beaudet, Josephine Bond, and Alyssa Van Der Molen.

The Mustangs teams pulled off the sweep against the Indians as the Mustang girls picked up a 64-6 victory with Josephine Bond picking up a victory over Jaylynn Kerr by fall in 46 seconds. The Mustang boys picked up a 56-17 victory over Oskaloosa, with Ryan Pertzsch, Connor Stolpe and Cayden Mayfield all picking up victories to help push the Mustangs towards victory.

Mustang wrestling is back in action on Thursday as Dallas Center-Grimes travel to Pella to take on the Dutch.
