The Carnegie Library Museum in Perry is gearing up for a special program revolving around a specific beverage.

The organization will be partnering with Living History Farms, of Urbandale, to host “Tea Parties: Past and Present,” tomorrow afternoon from 1-2pm. Perry Adult Services Librarian Mindy Farmer says historians will talk about the origins of tea, its growing popularity and all the different manners of servicing tea.

Farmer mentions that the presentation will feature teas from around the United States and England. She adds that the program will be available for free and is open to participants of any age. Any questions can be directed to the Carnegie Library Museum at (515)-465-7713.
