On Tuesday the West Central Valley Wildcat girls wrestling team traveled to Osceola to Clarke Community High School for the Clarke Girls Duals. The Wildcat girls competed against Clarke, Newton, and Knoxville and picked up a 40-28 victory over Clarke and a 40-36 victory over Knoxville. West Central Valley would battle, but would fall to Newton 36-27.

In the Wildcat battle against Knoxville, Wildcats’ Gracie Sloss, Jazabella Morse, Ori Meyes, Willow Ray, and Rhowen Miller all picked up victories to help total up to 42 points. In the Wildcat battle against Clarke, Gracie Sloss and Bryanna Pena-Rivera would pick up victories over Yaretzi Avilez and Maisy Davis of Clarke to help total up to 40 points.

The Wildcat girls are back in action on Saturday as West Central Valley plays hosts to 14 other teams for the West Central Valley Girls Wrestling Invitational. Girls wrestling action at West Central Valley is set to begin at 10am on Saturday.
